Mike, Could you just use a quick detailer spray to soften it up and then wipe it off?

Re: How to remove a DRIED bird dropping
Thanks, Mike!
I finally got tired of birds bombing my car overnight every night, because my parking spaces in front of my townhouse are under a tree. As of two days ago, my car is now down the street.

If "you" want to you can.
What I was showing was how to avoid rubbing dried, abrasive elements in the dried bird dropping across the paint potentially scratching the paint.
This is kind of the point as to the pictures showing the method.

Thanks for the tip, your method seems to make a lot more since. I was just curious on what your thoughts were in regards to the the QD as I see a lot of people suggest to use that.

Excellent idea, thanks Mike. Although to keep from ruining a good MFT, I might try a smaller portion of terry cloth towel or several layers of an old cotton T-shirt.

Thanks Mike!
I usually spray PBw bird sh!t remover over the mess and wipe off with a microfibre and always use Nitrex gloves.
All stocked by Autogeek!
Pigeons and seagull mess are not Audi clear coat friendly. Maybe it's just Scottish birds are harder
