Blue Jeans Stain
Hey y'all
I've been noticing this a lot on few cars we maintenance with blue jean staining on the leather seats. I've tried a lot of techniques to clean it but still see it. I know with a lot of these new cars have white like interior but I also have the problem with a darker brown interior. 1. APC with microfiber it just lighten it. 2. Tried it again with the APC and a boars hair brush, nothing. The cars are new model infinity QX 80 & Cadillac Escalade. Both do not have any coating on the seats. Please help and share your secrets! Thanks million!

Re: Blue Jeans Stain
You could give this product a try:
Leather Master Dye Transfer Remover, leather cleaner, dye remover, ink remover
{Hopefully the other cleaning attempts
didn't "set" the stain.}

Re: Blue Jeans Stain
I don't think there is anything on the market that solves that problem.If lacquer thinner which we tried on a dealer trade doesn't do it nothing will.lacquer is horrific on leather coated or uncoated and it did zero.Maybe just maybe some steam.

Go chat with Judy at LTT... most likely the dye has travelled through the protective coating and into the leather. Shoot her an e-mail.. she is the Queen of Hide.
