    Interior Detailing Question

Hello everyone, I am new to the forum and need some advice. Our shop deals with a lot of car lots that have extremely dirty interiors and all of them prefer us to pull and pressure wash their carpets and seats. We started getting more clientele over the past couple of months and a majority don't want their carpets done this way. I have a green machine and use an apc to spray and wipe off, but I am having trouble with the hard to reach places (in between seats and console), and typically I will just take the seats out to get to these places. Is there any quicker way than doing the method I just stated? Thank you in advance!

Agree with the vapor steamer, crevice nozzle on a good extractor works great too! Best way is to pull seats out though...

Thanks for the comments. I will look into the steamers. And I felt removing the seats would be the better option, but there are always those few vehicles that don't have as much spillage or stains that make that process a little more time consuming than what its worth. Any suggestions on a steamer?

Just a long handle (large toothbrush) stiff brush, some cleaner, and a crevice vacuum attachment for most jobs.

I've only had one that the seats should have really come out of, and she was only paying me to do the seats because the car was so bad.

Good pump sprayer with a extended wand.stick your hand under the seat to clean between the seat and console.Or invest in a powerful steamer as suggested.I can't imagine pulling seats out of cars, they must be horrible.Find another dealer or go on a gorilla marketing for just retail.

    Re: Interior Detailing Question

Thanks for all the replies. I'm looking at the vx5000 in the near future. And for pulling seats, the driver and passenger take a few minutes to pull with an impact wrench. I will try all your guys' recommendations tomorrow! We have been open for about 4 months now and as of now the dealers keep us busy(keep the lights on), but we plan on straying away as our clientele list grows (which it is doing nicely)!
