Pro Detailer Wanted in Wayland, Boston area - Single stage paint 1953 Jaguar project



I had a gentleman call me last night that has read my article here,

The Secret to Removing Oxidation and Restoring a Show Car Finish to Antique Single Stage Paints



This guy owns a 1953 Jaguar Drophead Coupe in light blue with the original single stage paint. Here's a picture of what one of these cars looks like that I stole off the Interweb.




He says to the average person the car looks beautiful but after reading my article and looking at the pictures in the above thread he would like to have someone CAREFULLY do the #7 Rub Down Technique to the paint on his Jaguar and then hand apply a finishing wax like the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran or the Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax.

Here's what you'll need...


Meguiars Mirror Glaze #7 Show Car Glaze



Then one of these finishing waxes to finish the job and seal the surface

Pinnacle Liquid Souveran Car Wax

Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax


To apply the #7 since the paint is NOT dull and chalky a soft microfiber applicator pad or microfiber towel would work great instead of the normal cotton terrycloth wash cloth I use and recommend for neglected, chalky single stage paint.
