Clean DI Water
many folks have spoken about CR Spotless and filtered Rinse water. I installed a Culligan DI two tank water system here.
I first pressure or hand wash with non filtered water. Then Rinse with the Filtered DI water, and walk away. Rinse well and put your wash equipment away. No blowers, no drying aids, no towels!!
The surface will dry 110% spot free every time, and no scratches from drying.
Is it worth it, I say 100% Yes...

Re: Clean DI Water
What does Culligan DI two tank system cost and how long does it last? I have the CR Spotless and I replace the filters about every ten months, washing 2 - 3 cars per week.

Re: Clean DI Water
Is the service provided by Culligan residential or commercial? Around here they sold off the commercial business to someone else. I'm pretty sure the residential side only does softening and filtration, not deionization.

I wash about 6-7 vehicles a week sometimes more. I rent the tanks $25.00 per month. I get 2400 gallons, so they say before I need to recharge. They said to purchase was around $1800.00 and recharge was $100.00.
Not sure what the cost difference is with CR Spotless, but I am sure water mineral concentration at the start has something to do with longevity. My water was 215 PPM at the start well water.
I think the comercial side handles this product not Culligan Residential. I am expecting 8 months before Recharge..

So it's only $25 per month plus $100 when it needs recharged? I think I'll have to look into this...
