Next year I plan to test either 476 or 915 as a stand alone

Just ordered a bottle of Car-Pro essence. Hopefully I get a chance to coat my Avalanche in it before winter gets here. Not sure if I'm gonna try to top it with Reload or just use it by itself.

Luckily in some ways, they don't use salt on the streets-roads if it snows here, in fact, they don't do anything here when it snows. Travel at your own risk!
Around here roads are covered with road salt 5 months a year because otherwise, we would not be able to travel cuz we get tons of snow and the roads are iced most of the time, hehe - perhaps, a good clean up and a coat of 845 was the least I could do! I am willing to try Collonite 915 next year on my black '10 Outback. From what I read, it grants good protection as well as good incredible reflections (especially on dark colored cars)

Re: What's YOUR '15 winter protection?
A lot of cars got Meguiar's M20 Polymer Sealant this season. Another few got Duragloss 101, or 111. One got Surf City Garage Nano Seal (as did mine), and a neighbor got NXT 2.0....
I have a coat of Meguiar's M26 over M20 on my better half's truck. Because it's maintained every other day or so it has been looking great for weeks now.

CG Blacklight topped with Jetseal. I also put Jetseal on the windows and Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant on the trim.

Had I not just waxed my car and bought a ton of spray wax on the last big sale this is what I would've done. I was wary of this stuff before, but the last post showing all the polished cars really makes me want it.

I'm in Western NY & i've been using 476 (2 layers to assure I didn'the miss anything) for the last 10 years to get me through the snow/ice/salt.

Yeah I normally try not to buy into the early hype every time a new product comes out but this certainly seems like a winner. Jsmooth's pics and review is what convinced me to give it a shot.
I'll probably end up taking my truck through the touch less car wash like I did last year to clean it off. Hate to do it but I don't have a garage and it gets too cold out here to do a rinseless wash so it's really my only option.
Should be a good test of Essences durability
