+1 on the black Craftsman.... and my vote for the rather expensive Eley hose reel!! The last hose reel you will ever need, promise!

I have the Eley hose reel as well. Have had it for 5 yrs, just purchased 2 more for my son & sister in law. Last hose reel you will ever buy.

I bought a flexzilla. Huge waste of $60. I left a detailed negative review of it on amazon. Fittings are well made, and it is lighter than Sears rubber hoses. But that's where the benefits end. When dragging it across the ground, like to move from one side of the car to the other, it wants to rotate so strongly that it whips around in your hand. Coiling it back up after use was same situation. It wants to retain its shape so strongly that it flips around at you like if you grabbed it about 5 feet from the end and swung the thing at the wall, or in this case your body. Thing belongs in a bad Steven Segal movie where he would use it to kick ass on a group of bad guys.

I thought the flexzilla was designed to not retain shape? That sucks as I just Amazon primed one. Ordered a hose real too.

haha.. this made me laugh.

FWIW: I find that the craftsman wants to retain it's shape more-so than the flexzilla and like I'm wrestling with a (somewhat wimpy) rat snake the whole time I'm using the hose.

But like I said, I've only used flexzilla one time, and I did appreciate it's lighter weight.

yikes, thats not what I need in a 1 car garage, stubborn flexzilla smacking my ride trying to retain it's shape.

I went with a coiled 75' 'water right' hose. should at least be flexible and easy to store.

I had used a Ace Flexogon for years and it served me well but hardened over time. I bought one of those no kink hoses you find at HD and Lowes...it kinks...worse yet when you roll it on a reel it collapses and has a memory when unrolled.

Let us know how it works out! Based on my experiences with my wife's coiled hose used to water her plants and flowers I think it might be a PIA while washing a car.
