Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 or Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant

Normally I'd use BFWD as a sealant, but I have a bottle of Jetseal 109 waiting to be used. The surface will be prepped properly before applying either one. Reflections aren't a great concern since this will be going on a daily driver so the main point I'm looking for is durability.

What would be better protection wise for a car that's driven daily and rarely sees a covered parking structure?

CG recommends two coats of Jetseal ( as per bottle ). It is by far the easiest sealant to wipe off. As far as durability goes, BFWD wins. The polycharger that's already mixed in helps in it's longevity. Now I have the polycharger kit, so now I wonder how the Jetseal would be if I Polycharged it? Hmm. But back to your question. I'd stick with the BFWD. Only need one coat and lasts longer than two coats of Jetseal.

I love Jet Seal 109. I like to touch it up with Hybrid V07 spray sealant. It has worked wonders for me with winter detailing.

When would the second coat of Jetseal 109 be applied? The flash time for the first coat is 20 minutes and it fully cures in 12 hours

I have both but I prefer BFWD hands down.

After buffing off first coat, wait 30 minutes then apply second coat. Personally, you're better off with BF

The bottle says apply second coat 15-20 minutes after removing first coat to ensure proper coverage. It's super easy on and off, and I have five 16oz bottles of it. But I feel the longer lasting sealant between these two is BFWD.

Have both too. BFWD looks better and last longer. The durability of BFWD is underestimated.
