    Powdercoat Semi Gloss Black rims

I had to get a tire checked because it kept losing air. It turns out the bozo or bozos who powder coated my rims forgot to tighten the valve stem. In any case, a small part of the rim near the edge was slightly scratched when I took it to Americas Tires. Any recommendations on a compound, pad, and machine combo to buff out the scrape/scratch? Thanks in advance.

Since powdercoating is a plastic type finish it might be difficult. You may in fact wind up scratching the surrounding area.
I would tape off the scratch and try a mild abrasive polish on it.
Good luck! Let us know how it turns out

Ok. I used the wolfgang finger pocket and FG400 and it worked. Thank goodness, I buy almost anything and everything from Autogeek. I'm not a geek just an anal freak!!
