Water Spot Removers
What's the best product to remove waterspots on door jambs.

Probably a fine SMAT polish like Optimum Finish, by hand on a foam hand pad. But, I guess it depends how bad and what type the spots are. Duragloss Waterspot Remover works well for fresher spots.

Re: Water Spot Removers
I use Klasse AIO, but like swanicyouth said it depends on the severity of the spots.
I've removed simple surface spots pretty easily by hand or a DA with Klasse AIO. Deeper/more sever spots will take something more agressive.

But be careful when using anything abrasive as the clear coat on door jams are very thin.

Re: Water Spot Removers
I just had a situation where I was exposed to some bad water from a sprinkler. I just had my car detailed at AG and could not believe the deposits that the water left. I ordered 2 bottles of Duragloss 505 and I have to say it worked great! This stuff smells like a wet dogs butt, other then that it did a great job and is BOGO right now at AG.

It works pretty good - doesn't it? I thought I was the only person who used this stuff. The smell is unique. I wouldn't describe it as a "wet dogs butt" though. To me it smells like sour garbage.

Re: Water Spot Removers
The 505 says it will, I guess it depends on how deep the stain is. If it is old and the minerals have really embedded into the paint then I would guess a more radical treatment would be needed. What have you tried so far?
