Exclamation Rupes polishes and pads questions.

I recently got myself Rupes 21 machine and do quite like it. It's easier to control then Flex 3401. Anyway, I tried it with B&S pads and it worked quite well using Scholl polishes, and Pinnacle twins. I do want to know how different Rupes polishes and pads are and if they are worth investing money in. Primarily I work on super soft BMW paints, and sticky Infiniti paint. Also, how well MF pads work with Rupes?
    Thanks in advance.

Can't help you with info on Rupes polishes due to the fact I have never tried them as of yet. I have used both Buff & Shine and Meguiars mf pads with excellent results. The B&S pads seem to handle the massive stroke of the Rupes a bit better the Megs from my experience so far. The white and yellow Rupes pads are quickly becoming my favorite foam pads.

I love the rupes yellow pads for polishing. I like using them more then the lc pads.

    +3 on RUPES pads

I first thought they had a bad design (too fat)

    Love the Rupes pad, Big-N-Beefy
Stick with the polishes you like and are familiar with.
I'm sure the Rupes Gels are great but I don't need another product.
New stuff comes out everyday, I'm not replacing what I already know and love
    which is Meguiar's

    Did you replace/stop-loving Meguiar's pads?
If so: What would Joe think if he knew about it?

    ^I haven't told him.....ssssh.
    I only have 2, 5" & 6".
Meg's pads are very soft and don't hold up to the "beefyness" of a Rupes.

Sent while I was Detailing or something related to detailing

Yep the Meg's pad fail very quickly with the Rupes.

I have found the Meg's 5.5" and 6.5" MF pads work great with the Rupes also the same goes for the BnS MF pads.

I like the hydrotech foam pads and the BnS pads.

Re: Rupes polishes and pads questions.

Rupes 21 is really really hard on pads my friend. I've had LC pads ripped right off their velcro backing during polishing. Rupes yellow pad and Sonax Perfect Finish have produced some of the best one-pass results I have ever seen. Rupes polishes are superb as well. Just don't use too much
