Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber
What is the general consensus on the Megs microfiber towels? Are they paint safe? I did some searches and didn't find any reviews or comments about them.

Why wouldnt they be paint safe? Its Meguiar's not Walmart/AutoZone.
Pretty sure a company like Meguiars wouldnt design a cheap microfiber that marrs your paint.
Anyhow, the Supreme Shines are good, their edgeless ultimate wipe is even better. They are the best IMO for polish removal. You can use them for wax/sealant removal as well, but personally I prefer Cobras for wax removal & QD/Spray Wax removal.

Re: Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber
This is my towel of choice for polish/wax removal. I thought that the thicker the towel, the better but in my experience, the thinner towel works best for removing polish/wax.
It's good quality. I can't complain.

It's paint safe as long as you don't press down extremely hard, but that's the case with most all MFs

Re: Megs Supreme Shine Microfiber
I was asking because I see them here and other places but I don't see any quality information like are they 70/30 or 80/20, gms, etc. I also found them to be cheaper than others especially by the case. I believe Autogeek had them by the case years ago.

They will say on the tags. I believe they are 80/20, maybe Marc can confirm or correct me on this.

Everyone I have seen at the local stores does not have a tag. Doesn't say on the package either.

I have a few. By far my favorite MF. I also can pick them up locally so they are the best I can get without ordering online.

I envy you guys that can pick them up locally. Like I said im not sure about the percentage of polyester, but what I do know is that they are softer than cheap MF towels, and wont marr even the softest of paints if used properly like stated above.

Thank you CM8. I pick them up at Car Quest or Body and Paint Supply shops.
