Cosmic Spritz Spraycoat is one that would give you a year of protection and looks easy to apply. Pricey though.

I’m not sure I trust my skill set enough to to lay down their Zipang on a black car…. Is there any benefit to using their ‘overcoat’ spray as a stand alone? My thought is if the car is not ‘coated’ and you find an area of a few light toweling marks, you can practically take those out by hand with a mild finishing polish and then hit that panel with a light top coat. I have never had any luck polishing a ceramic coating other than to affirmatively remove it to redcoat the entire panel (or car)
Yes Kami OverCoat is a nice looking product with insane hydrophobics. For my garage queen that will probably never see rain (if i can help it…) i’m not worried about hydrophobics, just how it looks.
If your willing to invest in OC, go with the polish angel products.
The combo i mentioned gets rave reviews. You could even just go with black wulfenite or High gloss by themselves.
For me PA is the way to go.

I've never used it on black, but Wolfgang Fuzion has some incredible gloss/depth.
It is insane on metallic.

Yep, I also use Fuzion I'm very satisfied with it.
Treat it like it's the only one in the world.

If'n I had a lightly used car I'd just wax the ever lovin' snot outta it with some obscenely pricey and easy to use paste wax.

Re: LSP for Weekend Only Cruiser?
Before all the whiz-bang sealants and then SiO / Ceramics hit the market, I used to love Blackfire Midnight Sun. (Maybe because it smelled like Hawaiian Tropic and reminded me of the older girls at the pool when I was a little punk.)
Once I get my clear film on all the high stress areas, I think I’m going old school Carnauba on this car. Gorgeous looks and so easy to strip, touch up, and re-wax as necessary. Also plays nice with so many ‘day of show’ detailing products.

Re: LSP for Weekend Only Cruiser?
Dodo Juice Blue Velvet hard wax + Dodo Juice Purple Haze soft wax would like very nice on your show Pontiac .
My only reservation with using carnauba rich waxes on black and dark blue show cars is that all light airborne debris sticks to it and accumulates, sometimes fairly quickly while a car sits at a car show all day, especially if there is any type of breeze.
Synthetic LSPs aren’t quite so bad, but there is no doubt carnauba wax makes a black car look best (my opinion).
I went with Gyeon Wax for this show season on my midnight blue Riv, in hopes that the dust/pollen/airborne dirt won’t be so attracted to it while at a car show. Using Gyeon Ceramic Detailer for light maintenance should also (hopefully) help.
That’s a beautiful car!
