idk, maybe my conditions were different, but i taped and where I wasn't as careful I had trim issues. Not that it stained, but that it left some residue. Thankfully it came off easy.

Although Briarpatch's response says he hasn't had issues, my experience is total opposite. 360 touches trim and it's stained, and can be a bear to get out.

Re: Looking for an AIO thats SAFE ON PLASTIC AND RUBBER
I absolutely love HD speed for an AIO in my world. Pretty good correction and outstanding gloss and shine! But it does fall short on durability.
I have used Speed with a Meguiar's microfiber cutting pad and it worked pretty good.
From the cars I have used it on, I have not seen any staining on trim.
I think the main reason why I'm in love with HD Speed is the ability to use it outside in the blazing hot sun. You can let it bake on there until your hearts conset, then it just wipes right off!
I tried using the same method with Meguiar's D166 and nowhere near the same result. I had to wipe the section right away after polishing. It was really hard to wipe off if left on too long and I was starting to swirl the paint, after I just removed them.
Anyways, hope this information helps you out!

Re: Looking for an AIO thats SAFE ON PLASTIC AND RUBBER
Hey guys, OP here.....I received my Bottle of Blackfire one step today and got a chance to test it on both my Ultra Black Hyundai Veloster and our Scion xB Sizzling Crimson Mica(Almost Black Burgundy). I have to say you guys were spot on. So easy to work with, seems like you can work it and work it. Easy to buff off and does a great job at removing minor clearcoat scratches and swirls. Great gloss and is very hydrophobic. Expensive but sometimes you get what you pay for.
Thanks again for the great advice!

Given that it's a 32 oz bottle though, it really isn't that much more than say McKee's 360.

Has anyone used One Step in direct sun? Was it as easy to use and wipe off as HD Speed in the sun?

Re: Looking for an AIO thats SAFE ON PLASTIC AND RUBBER
So after working two of my cars with this Blackfire One Step, I'm glad I took the recommendation to try it....Although pricey is does do a great job at paint correction and polish. The cars look brilliant. Shortly after working the Scion xB I took it on a long work trip of 550 miles each way.....After day ones drive it was full of bugs so before checking into Hotel I took it to a car wash....I know I NEVER go to those but had no choice since I was out of town and the love bugs will ruin paint if you leave them bake in.....The car wash did a great job and the car came out spotless.....A few days later I returned home and hand washed all the new bugs off after another 550 miles.....While the car cleaned up great I will say the hydrophobic properties was weak at best....I'm thinking going forward that after machining the Blackfire One Step I will top it with something. What do you guys think?
