Reload over Pinnacle Souveran ?
Hi Guys,
Just got a new Dodge Challenger with an Octane Red exterior which I applied a coat of Pinnacle Souveran and it looks amazing!
My question is: I still have a couple of bottles of CarPro Relaod and wondering if it's OK to use this over the Pinnacle Souveran as a periodic quick detailer or is this a bad idea?
I realize the Re-load was primarily intended for CQuartz coating.
Note I generally cut the Reload with about 40% distilled water.
Thank you!

Nice! You finally fixed your margins.

Get some Ech2o (CarPro) and dilute 1:20. Put 2-4oz of reload in a 32oz spray bottle and fill with the diluted Ech2o. It will work great over over it.

Thank you ducksfan, this sounds great!
Just to be sure I got it right, If I mix the following:
1 oz. Ech2o
20 oz. distilled water
3.5 oz. reload
24.5 Total

That should be fine. Different people will recommend different amounts of reload. I've used 2-3 oz in a full 32 oz sprayer in the past with good results. I know Wills, Windows and (something) has a Youtube video out where he says 4oz in a 16oz sprayer. So, maybe play with it a bit and see what you like ( I think the only issue with more Reload is the need for more care to avoid streaks).

I don’t know if it would not work, but you would be better off using one of the many spray waxes to extend to carnauba glow from Souveran. I don’t like putting sealants over waxes, but this hobby is all about experiments. Enjoy!

Agreed. I'd probably use Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray as my QD in that case. And then use Souveran Liquid Spray Wax every couple weeks to maintain that original look. Reload may work but it'll change the look. I'd also check for streaking before I did the whole car.

There's not going to be any harm that I foresee. As you say you already have this product on hand, and it is suitable to be used other places besides just paint. I'd say either use up the Reload till it's gone, or give the reload to a friend that might have better use for it?
