While cleaning my 2017 black Silverado today. I notice lots and lots of bug guts on grille and head lights. Tried scrubbing but it's just not working. What is a good product to remove that crap?
If I have a customer with bug guts THAT bad, I have found 3D bug remover diluted 5:1 to be the most economical and most effective bug remover. Just be sure you use it out of the sun on cool paint. You most likely won't even have to use manually agitation with a bug sponge. The enzymes are incredibly effective at breaking down bugs that the bugs just melt away and can be rinsed off.
I've never had to use it on my car, but twice I've used Meguiar's APC at 10:1 on months worth of dried bug guts on friend's cars.
Only let it dwell for about 90 seconds. Then rinsed with a jet of water. PW would be preferred, but don't currently own a PW. APC really softens up the bugs. For obvious reasons I only used this method on a car that is getting polished and an application of LSP.
