Do you need to throw away coating applicators after use? Can I just toss them in some APC solution with my MFs and clean them out, or is this even necessary? I'll be using PBL coatings with the LC applicators and foam finger pockets.
Yes you can clean those out. If you were using the suede cloth applicator or round foam disc, I would just throw away because they are very inexpensive. However the foam finger pockets are a few bucks each.

Would you recommend just cleaning out with some APC and a brush? Maybe some pad cleaner too?
I would just spray with a strong dilution of APC and rinse right away or put in a bucket with APC/water until you're able to wash after he detail. I don't think you'd want to put a brush against that foam.

I tossed what I used today in a bucket with some APC. Will clean tomorrow after I finish coating. 8 more wheels to do, paint on GT3, and 2 windshields left!
I reused the LC applicator after suing PBL. Tossed it into a bucket of DP pad rejuvenator and rinsed it with APC. I have done the same to the LC applicators for PBL wheel coating and DP glass coating.
