"Pink" Flex roll call!
I had wanted to upgrade polishers from my trusty GG6 for some time... So last year I started researching and learning as much as I could about the many options available.
After doing some homework, I decided the Flex XC 3401 VRG was the tool that I wanted.
At the time there were two 3401 choices to pick from (not counting the HD option)... the standard red machine, and the "special edition" pink model.
"Who would buy a freakin' pink Flex?" I thought to myself... No wonder they're priced a few bucks lower, why would anyone want one?
Then the Black Friday sales rolled around and I just couldn't pass up the deal on the "special edition" model.
Seven months later I'm happy with my decision. The 3401 has improved my paint correcting ability and has been the upgrade in tools that I was looking for. The pink color has grown on me and now may even be "special" as they don't seem to be available any longer.
So fellow geeks... Who else owns one of these special pink 3401's? Let's start a Pink Flex Roll Call!

Real men polish in the pink!
I should get the 5 inch backing plate and pads. That's pretty common among Flex owners. I guess people see it as much more versatile than the stock plate and 6 inch pads...?

I'm curious. Was there an official reason given for the SE color selection?

I'm guessing breast cancer awareness? I'm not sure if it was an actual personal reason behind it though. I know nothing.

That's what I figured, but I wondered if one of the Pinkies (Pinkers?) had the official word.
If that had been available at a discount when I was shopping, I wouldn't have cared if it had pink triangles & unicorns on it. Sold!

Yea I love buying things on sale so I probably would've bought 1 too if I was thinking of getting 1 at the time. And I could easily buy a King Size Sharpie, some cool stickers, or whatever else with the money I saved on the polisher.
Or I could leave it as is and just dedicate it to my cat since she's always sitting on my cart while I detail a car. Lol.

I too have the pink one, makes absolutely no difference to me what color it is. I bought it because my old boss had a double mastectomy and wanted to for her survival, since then I've had a cousin die from BC so even more reasons. I've had a couple comments from people and some good ones too. The jerks I just tell them I know someone with BC and it's over lol
