    Chinese Acquire Flex Tools

"Chinese Leading Enterprise Embraces alliance with German Century Brand Industry field takes Chervon acquisition of Flex as Chinese leading power tool enterprise powerfully combining with German century brand.

Founded in 1922, Flex is the embodiment of a traditional German brand, providing professional tools for professionals and gaining a top reputation with the FLEX brand in Germany. Looking back at a successful history of 90 years, Flex has accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in product applications, product manufacturing capabilities, and the focus and dedication to quality has been taken as the core culture. All these are not only the same pursuit of quality of Chervon, but also provide more profound heritage and understanding to Chervon.
Flex shall be used to enter a market segment which has so far been quite difficult for Chinese companies to conquer. This especially refers to products for experienced customers on developed markets such as Europe or North America. The seal of quality “Made in Germany” shall also convince customers who would normally refuse to buy products “Made in China”. With the brand Flex it will be much easier to gain a foothold in the market"

I think it's funny the seal of made in Germany as quality. I know flex is a good machine but I don't think as Germans of being real manufacturing type folks. At least not like made in the USA!

Some German companies proudly state "Engineered in Germany, Made in China". In the end, it is the engineering that counts along being made in a well controlled manufacturing process. I recall when electronics were made here.

So maybe they will continue to make them in Germany.

What in the world is going on!? That is crazier than a wooden leg with a real foot! Wonder what is going to happen now? Hopefully the Chinese just make a knockoff version and sell it in their own country and the world still gets the version made in Germany. I will pay more for an authentic Flex.

That is a very bold statement and I will leave it at that.

Yeah, I know, BMW, Porsche-Audi, Mercedez Benz, Bosch, Siemens etc. those brands are all poorly manufactured and their quality sucks.

Lol are you joking? Germans are probably most known for their engineering and manufacturing expertise.
