3 inch Flex DA Orbital

I bet that got your attention.

Is there any news on Flex producing a 3 inch DA orbital polisher; one that is as good as my XC 3401 VRG.

I'm not interested in the Griot's 3 inch polisher. I've read too many reviews on forums with half of them not very glowing. I'm also not interested in using a smaller backing plate on my XC 3401 VRG.

The 4" LC BP is as small as Flex can go without a complete redesign. Im not sure how smaller drive mechanism would work. The LC 4" will fit a 4" pad unlike the 4+ inch Flex BP that wont.

That is what I am looking for...a complete redesign from the ground up. A completely new Flex in the size of the Griot's but not a toy.

There are plenty of 3" Orbitals/Rotaries available...
Especially if one has an air compressor.

There is a difference between a DA orbital (note thread title ) and a rotary.

Are any of those that you listed a Dual Action Orbital?

Yes...All of them!!

(I was just passing along info that there are also 3" Rotaries...
Thus my posting: 3" Orbitals/Rotaries...Sorry for the confusion.)

I'm on the Metabo site as I was before, and all I could find is their 7 inch angle polisher.

Model number of the one you posted above? Found it...they call it an orbital sander.
