What to get with Flex PE-14?

So as soon as the buffers (hopefully) go on sale I'm getting the Flex PE-14. I want to get some input on what you guys think are some "must haves" for the Flex PE-14 or any rotary for that matter. As soon as these go on sale I'm gonna get it so I wanna have everything researched and in the wish list by then. So just something off the top of my would be a wool pad (what brand, size, ect.) Like I said, any and all suggestions welcome

These have been my go-to pads and backing plate since i picked them up. constant pressure pads in 5.5 are great to control and cut nicely. Flex-foam backing plate is amazing for control and keeping holograms off the curves. 3m low lint wool is the best wool i've used to date. It sheds about 10% as much as others i've used.

Lake Country Constant Pressure Technology 5.5 Inch Flat Pads, foam pads, buffing pads

Flex-Foam HD Rotary Backing Plate, circular polisher backing plate, backing pad

3M Perfect-It Low Linting 8" Wool Pad, 3m perfect it low linting 8 inch wool pad double sided, no lint wool pad, 3M perfect it rubbing compound pad

3M Quick Release Adaptor, 3M adapter for double sided pads,

    Shawn,

A variety of pads and their corresponding backup plates are important to have. I use both 6" and 7" Lake Country Kompressor pads on my rotary's . I also like their Purple Foam Wool pads.

    Kompressor Pads

Lake Country Kompressor 6 inch Foam Pads, Foam Buffing Pads, Lake Country buffer pads, polishing pads

    Purple Foam Wool Pads

    Lake Country Foamed Wool Pads

    So...pads, backing plates, correction products.....

Re: What to get with Flex PE-14?

I'm in the same boat. As soon as it goes on sale, I'm going to buy one too. However, because of the size of the polisher, I'm thinking of using smaller pads. 6.5" or less. So far I have these in mind for severe defect removal:

The Edge 2000 6 Inch Wool Buffing Pads

They're double-sided and use an adapter to attach to the polisher, thus ensuring perfect centering everytime. The only negative I'm noticing is that AG currently has the adapter out-of-stock.

I'm also thinking about picking up their 4" double-sided wool pads. If you click on the link below, you'll find them near the middle of the page.

Double Precision pads are double-sided foam buffing pads for the Cyclo polisher.

For less severe defects, polishing and finishing, I'm going to continue to use the HT 5.5" low-profile foam pads with the 3M backing plate that I already use with my Makita rotary.
