Flex pe14-2-150 newbie
Do you all believe this is a good device for someone new in the detailing game?

Yes...considering it's one of the best rotaries ever made...
I'm in Chicago suburbs. I'm gonna order one in a little bit so you could come by and try it out if you want.

Most definitely. Let me know when. I plan on getting mine next month some time. Would be nice to try it out before purchasing.

I'm wondering where can you buy those flex backing plates? I don't see them anywhere. Are they available in different sizes too?

Myself and a couple of other forum members had the chance to use it this past weekend at Detail Fest awesome machine for sure . After 5 Min's Corey was handling like a pro . At one point i was considering but the light weight Flex rotary but after using this machine which only weighs a little bit more it is well worth the money .

I have been looking for those too. I think they are only available in Europe. I found a part # for the backing plate on a kit that looks like it is from Europe. Here is the link to Flex: FLEX-Elektrowerkzeuge seit 1922 You can see the part number for a 150mm backing plate is 350.745
I'd love to get it. Any chance Autogeek could get these?
Thanks,
Don

Looks like its an M14 thread so it won't work on American 5/8" buffers.
