    CCS vs. Flat pads

    What's the verdict?

Which pads work better on a Flex 3401XRG? CCS or Flat?

I'll be using M105/M205 on soft to medium paint.

    Thanks.

    Re: CCS vs. Flat pads

I have used the ccs pads, the cobra cross grove pads, and the flat pad. I will say, my favorite is the flat pads.

    Re: CCS vs. Flat pads

I love the flat so much I haven't given the ccs a fair shot. So far almost always used the flat except when I ran out on a pad type once and threw a ccs on there.
Try one of each and do a write up.

    Re: CCS vs. Flat pads

I've used both. Flat pads without a doubt. Only time I ever break into my CCS pad's drawer is when I've ran out of flat pads and don't have time to use the pad washer. In other words, never.

When you say Flat pads are better, does this include hydo-tech Flat pads?

For me it does. Anxiously looking forward to the new finishing pad for the Hydro Tech line Mike posted about the other day.
