4 inch pads on the flex?

Do any backing plates exist that allow usage of 4 inch LC pads with the flex? I know you can use 4 inch edge pads with the edge adapter, but I have a stock of 4 inch pads I used with the PC I would like to use with the flex. All help appreciated.

Unfortunately there are no other BP for the Flex other than the one that came with. Hopefully some day they will release some.

None that i'm a aware of.It would be great if they came out with other backing plates for the flex it would open up a whole new world .If you look at the backside of the flex BP i can almost see why they don't have a smaller plate, since the plate has the plastic gear moulded into the BP.

I thought that was t he consensus. Guess I'll need to buy another DA. Looking at the 7424xp and the griot's. ANy input between the 2?

Why not buy The Edge adapter and pads? It will probably be cheaper and quicker.Don't forget you get 2 pad in 1 with The Edge.

If you have a stock of un-useable 4" pads that you need to get rid of, I'd take them off of your hands...

Actually, it's probably as cheap to buy another DA than to buy the adapter and new pads for the edge system. The adapter is 49.99 and the pads are pretty expensive(but they are two sided). If I buy the DA I will have a backup machine also.

Thanks CTS-Veo, but I'm probably going to get the Griot's DA in the next couple of weeks.
