Problem with PXE-80
So on my last 2 jobs (I use the pixie normally for things like a-pillars and mirrors) my machine starts on speed 3 and if I try to bump it up to 4, it throttles itself back down to 2 or even 1. It won't hole the higher speed. This is on a "cool" tool with a fresh battery and only using attachments from the pixie kit. If I hold the "+" button on the tool it will stay at 4, but this seems like something wrong with the machine. I bought mine from Autogeek in November 2019 so it's out of warranty period...

Definitely something wrong.
Call Flex support and see what they can do for you.
