thankfully preuse..i followed mikes tip on lubing the felt..so i removed the backing plate and then noticed the bolt was shipped non tightened....

i bought it with the flex 4 3/8" plate option and use 5.5 inch pads
if you use powertools ...u will easily handle the flex..
lot of posts about the flex pulling during usage which made me wary.....if you usw 8/10amp corded powertools ...itll be just another dewalt or bosch in the lineup to grip
ok, thanks for the hint! I read about it being loose somewhere (review or something)..
I am not a power tools user at all...but i am a quick learning; i guess.

Anybody can recommend a 'foam gun' that's run by waterpressure only? I see a lot of different opinions... the water pressure in my house is very good.

on top of the great suggestion from Dr Oldz, i would also suggest picking up the GG 3" HD DA backing plate which will allow you to use smaller 3.5"- 4" pads...

I am also a huge fan of the griots gg6. Plenty of power, easy to handle, inexpensive, lifetime warranty.

I was planning on the Flex but I think will start instead with the GG6 for now til I get a feeling for those DAs, and also since they have those smaller backing plates.
