X-MAS MORNING, When you didn't get the gift you really wanted

Let me start by saying...I do not mean to be rude in any way.

Like many other Autogeekers, I had waited patiently for the Black Friday & Cyber Monday Sales. And they were great. My Bday was a week before, and I had been waiting patiently to maximize my spending potential. All went as planned. Thanks to my wife and kids for buying me some cool stuff for my Bday.

So, where does X-Mas come in to play ?

I spent enough money to get the free $50 gift. As I waited patiently for my stuff to arrive, my imagination went wild. What could it be ? Which new, cool product might I be able to test out ? Will it include the sample I really wanted ?

X-Mas morning arrived (package delivered), and as I began opening I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. I got to the free gift and.....Awww Man, it's the same stuff I have been using forever, and was exciting to move away from and try something new.

Now don't get me wrong, the gifts were great, nice products. And a thanks to Autogeek for always throwing extra goodies when they can. It's just not what I hoped for. Thus...

It's like X-mas morning, when you can't wait to find that gift you really want, only to finally realize it's not under the tree.

Glad to hear you got some awesome free stuff! If you wanted uber compound couldn't you have added that free sample to your order since you spent at least 100 dollars?

Yes sir I did. I wanted 1 more sample to make sure I had enough for my crew cab GMC Sierra. I am a detailing hobbyist, not a pro, and did not want to have wasted product.

I took a gamble and asked for another sample as my gift, or maybe as a Bday present, as Autogeek has always been generous whenever possible. But I lost. Now if I want another sample...shipping $

Didn't realize those. I ordered something else that came with some microfibers, and guess I assumed it was those. I will have to inspect further once I get home.
