I actually didn't notice the checkbox the last time I ordered. However, I did receive a shipment yesterday from AGO and it contained a few gallons of various liquids, as well as some smaller bottles of stuff. They used the brown paper, which worked well. I much prefer it over the peanuts.
I'm not sure I care either way, but if they offer a choice and the customer chooses one over the other, I would expect them to honor the choice.
You put your preference in the "comment box" and they usually do it.
Woohoo......brown paper bag on the 3rd box. 2 out of 3 ain't bad...i think
then why do i keep getting popcorn in my boxes. Placed 3 orders a few days ago. Two arrived today full of this annoying white pieces of craps. We'll see what happen to the third one when it arrived.
Yeah that happened to me on my last order too, I said paper only and got a box full peanuts. I hate peanuts.

To me that means you want damaged product and leaky fluids in your box instead of Styrofoam.I dislike the peanuts also but Autogeek has never sent damaged goods to my house. I prefer to throw away peanuts instead dealing with problems.

I have been selling packaging products for 25 years. Peanuts are considered void fill and offer little to know protection. The paper systems that AG uses I have sold those systems for over ten years . They are used for void fill and cushioning applications. The paper offers far superior protection compared to peanuts.
This is an example of an entire line system I sold. It was for a wheel casting application.
