    25 foot power cords

Not sure where to put this.

Well, my dog chewed up the power cord on my GG6.It was my own fault for leaving the polisher on top of the cage.(embarrassed)

Does AG sell any replacement power cables that I could hardwire and install myself? I understand I have the lifetime warranty through Griot's but I'm not sure if a situation like this would be covered.

If I could find a solution locally please chime in as well. Any suggestions would be great.

Hope this helps members out in the future for anyone that needs a replacement or just looking for an upgrade.

    Thanks in advance.

Any vacuum cleaner repair shop can do it easily, inexpensively and will look like original when complete.

I am considering upgrading from the 20' cord on my 3401 to maybe 30'...so I don't need an extension cord.

The quote I got was $18 for the cord itself and $20 for the repair.

Thanks. I see that AG does sell a Makita 9227C Replacement Cord

    18 gauge and 8 ft. long for 39.99. I'll pass. I believe the GG6 had a 16 gauge cord.

Thanks for sharing the information. I will call to see if I can get the 30' as well.
