Good to know I'm not alone in feeling this way - will try out the request for paper on all future orders!

    Re: Styrofoam peanuts

i honestly dont care about the peanuts as i have weekly trash pickup so i just use the shopvac to suck em out of the box or scoop out the peanuts into another box, remove products then dump into my trash bin. that being said i really wish ag would use up remaining inventory of peanuts and switch to a more"green" option full time either the air bags or the paper, i would EASILY pay 1$ more on an order to have airbags vs peanuts as they are more green and can be recycled. might be a good option to look into AG as the 1$ should ofset the price of the airbags...of course start up costs of the airbags are not the cheapest but might be cheaper then the peanuts in the long run.

Just got my order today! No peanuts, but paper...and I didn't request it. Maybe it's matter of what's in the box? Just order more stuff, then you won't need anything to fill up the space

Not sure if I am giving AG too much credit here but after posting in this thread, my next order came without peanuts - and I never changed any preferences online.

    THAT is service!

Unless, of course... AG just ran out of packing peanuts and everybody is getting paper?

Either way - I noticed, thanks!

Whatever you guys do... do not eat them! My old manager and I ate a few handfuls after we took a shipment in that contained them. Our stomachs hurt for the rest of the night and he caught a whole bunch of crap from his wife as to how stupid we were for doing it. That being said, they are not at all that bad tasting. They taste like a natural-foods spin on cheetos.

    Re: Styrofoam peanuts

The peanuts always spill on me too, but when all things are considered, I'm grateful that AG goes through the trouble and effort to try to make the products they ship arrive undamaged and intact. I don't think they do it to try to irritate people. I've received products from other vendors that arrived in bad shape from being inadequately packaged and being damaged from the banging they go through in the shipping process, so for me I can deal with peanuts instead of having to go through the hassle of returning a damaged item. Another thing I use 'em for is to stuff a bean bag I lay on when I watch TV.
