I'd vote for the anti-static or corn starch peanuts. The corn starch seem to be the least staticy and it's always fun to dissolve a few if you're bored.

Thanks Meghan, it really is exemplary of your company to offer an option for that--I really don't think I've ever heard of any other place in any industry offering different cushioning options.

Thank you but we are just providing a service that has been requested by our customers.
We have been researching the safest way to pack chemicals with paper, peanuts have always gotten the chemicals there undamaged. So after a lot of research and trying out a few different systems we have gotten in some equipment that we feel is doing the best job to safely pack your packages. So we now have different packing stations based on customers needs. Here is one of our paper stations that we have brought in for our paper customers.
What a lot of people don't realize is when you use paper you have to have a couple different kinds for just one shipment.
So here you see one of our filler papers...
And here is one of our cushion packing systems.
But as always at the Autogeek we are constantly researching and trying out better ways to serve you, our customer in the best manner we can. This shows you, your feedback definitely matters to us and helps us to make this company the best car care company we can be, so thank you.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.....
Autogeek's packing and packaging is the best I've seen.

I've been doing that as well as requesting USPS Priority Mail shipping in the comment section. Seems to take a little longer to get out the door at AG but USPS has been faster than UPS and it keeps moving on the weekend. Plus I don't have to deal with the maniac UPS driver that continually tears up my gravel driveway. YMMV.

Re: Autogeek Packaging-A Plus
I mentioned this last year, but since this thread touches on it...
I have been requesting paper packing ever since I found out it was available back in '09. I thank Autogeek for that.
Cornstarch peanuts would also be a VERY welcome packing solution but I do realize it's an added cost, however I would certainly be willing to pay a small premium above current shipping costs to get it. Just as I was willing to for the paper packing.
I think I also mentioned the small packing cushions Surf City Garage uses. They are recycled cardboard and come folded into small pyramids. They are light and effective, probably more so than paper packing, and likely less labor intensive. I don't know the cost breakdown versus corn starch peanuts.
Thanks for being considerate of your customers. One of the primary reasons I shop with "The Geeks".

Re: Autogeek Packaging-A Plus
If we're talking cool dunnage, how about the little air bags? They are very light and effective...of course they don't absorb any liquid if there is a spill, but neither do the peanuts. The conformal nature of the peanuts is hard to beat from an effectivness standpoint and also being quick on the shipper's end.
