Apologies to anyone who felt like I was scolding with respect to my comments. I certainly didn't intend them to be that way. Mine, of course, was simply an opinion and an alternative view of the purpose of the show.

People join forums for typically one of three reasons...
1. To ask questions and get help.
2. To answer questions and help others.
3. To cause problems.
Here's the link to our forum rules,
Forum Rules
Here's the rules your broke....
3. You are welcome to disagree but you must be polite.
4. No bashing any company or their products. No bashing other people. If you can't say anything nice about someone, then don't say anything at all, this also includes talking to others in a demeaning manner.
12. Continuously breaking the rules to disrupt the online community will result in you being banned from the forum.
15. No personal attacks toward members or non-members will be tolerated.
After discussing your posts to our forum with management it was decided that you joined this forum for reason 3 I listed above.
3. To cause problems.
Now under your name it correctly states,
SELF BANNED
We don't want and we don't need people acting like you on this forum.

I agree with Mike's (and whomever else's) decision to (self) ban Sonic Mustang. Let that be stated unequivocally.
However, one need not have his own show to be critical of a television show. We all can be critical of things. I'm critical of POTUS, but I've never held the office...nor would I want to.
Problem is that he just didn't go about it in a constructive manner.

Actually, he banned himself by his other vile posts on this forum not his bashing post about our TV show and the people involved.
If you're a member of this forum you can click on a person's forum nickname and a pop-out window will display with a link to read the forum members other posts. I'd encourage everyone to read Sonic Mustang's other posts as an example of how NOT to behave on a public forum.
If you're a Lurker reading this then you don't have this ability to click on a forum member's name and read their other posts plus a lot of other benefits. So instead of lurking? Why not join? This is the BEST and most helpful car detailing forum on the Internet and the fact that we don't allow people like Sonic Mustang onto the forum is proof that it's the best and most helpful.

I'm pretty sure this is a guy named Stan that I also banned off MOL and previously banned off this forum for the same reasons.
If it's not then his posting style or lack thereof is very similar. Regardless... we simply don't need, want or will put up with people that behave like this in public. Other forums might put up with it or even relish it but not this one.

Re: First viewing of Competition Ready
Well, I just binge watched this on YouTube as I was waiting for my pain meds to kick in (Kidney Stones are not fun!). Anyway, I have read some of the comments here, many are on point and others miss the mark completely. I believe the show has value to bringing non-detailers into the world of caring for your automobile's painted surfaces and interiors. I enjoyed the cars, and that's what I am here for, enjoying mine and others vehicles. If you don't like the show, don't watch it, you won't hurt any feelings. Keep up the good work Mike!
