Duragloss Visits Autogeek to Showcase a NEW Product!
A few months ago Ron White, the Vice President of Duragloss, reached out to me after reading one of my (many) posts on the forum about how I'm a waterless wash junkie. I like Ron; he's a nice guy and he cuts right to the chase.
I've got something in the works and I want your feedback on it. said Ron. A week later a gallon of Duragloss' new secret sauce was sitting on my desk.
Duragloss has been around for quite some time, so they know a thing or two about surface care enhancement. Duragloss doesn't introduce new products often, so when Ron told me he and Dr. Bailey (Duragloss' chemist) had been working on a product to fill a void in their product line, I was excited.
Fast forward a few months and Ron stopped by Autogeek headquarters to personally deliver the first production-spec bottle (it was full, of course ). Ron explained that Dr. Bailey was able to juice up the formula even more.
Unfortunately it had been raining when Ron stopped by, so I wasn't able to pluck a dirty car from the parking lot . Ron saw the iVan (Autogeek's corporate Sprinter Van) in the Show Car Garage and said "Why not use it on this?" This new product is safe for all exterior surfaces, including paint, glass, wheels, chrome, vinyl wraps, paint protection films, etc. Sounded good to me!
Here's a picture of Ron giving me a few tips. "Spray a liberal amount of product onto the surface and wipe clean with a plush microfiber towel. Flip to a dry side or grab a new towel and lightly buff to a high gloss." Check.
"Now feel how slick the surface is."
Did this new product safely clean the iVan without instilling scratches? Yes. Did it leave it slick and glossy? Yes.
Duragloss ----- coming soon to Autogeek.com
Thanks for stopping by Ron!

I thought they already had one?
I know that there a ton of quality sealants on the market, but the DG stuff works so well that I have no desire to try it.
For Ron if he reads this:
Thanks for 101, and 111. High quality at a fair price. Easy to use, and high performing.

Re: Duragloss Visits Autogeek to Showcase a NEW Product!
I heard availability around end of December to beginning-mid January. Just in time for the thaw.
I too prefer a dedicated WW to RW. Less work/fuss, no water buckets, done anywhere w/o water. More MF's, maybe, but my new front loading washing machine takes care of that. If DG exceeds Ultima then I become converted. My guess is this new wash has enhanced lubricity, surfactants, add-ons plus DG's lower pricing. Looks like a winning combination for sure. Put me on a waiting list!
