Autogeek Show Car Makeover in Nokomis, Fl

Tuesday April 17th the "Geek Team" Road Trip Project
went underway at 6am, arriving in Nokomis, Fl at around 9am.
What a beautiful day!

Here's a bit of a back story.
Our long-time and loyal customer/friend Ron had been diagnosed with Cancer and through his struggle of diagnosis he had been unable to take care of his prized Corvette Z06 and daily driver Dodge Durango R/T.

So, we decided to get a crew together and show this gentleman how much we have appreciated him over the years.

9am and about 67* with a decent breeze!

No time to mess around, starting with the wheels, LET'S GET TO IT!

Full set up for today, a mixture of many tools and products.

Ron wasn't kidding when he said he has won awards!

If you don't mix the soap, you're doing it wrong.

Soaking the wash mitts for proper wash

Time to blast it with Blackfire Foam Soap!

After the rinse we dry using a Metro Vac Blower.

With help from the Cobra Guzzler

This is the perfect drying tool for all areas of a vehicle

Random iVan shot

Baggie test! Best way to know if you have contaminants stuck to the vehicle.
P.S. that's Ron in the Yellow Shirt

Vette in the garage, and wash products already out, time to hit the Durango.

Wider tires on the Durango, so Mike Phillips showed everyone how to use the brush attachment for a DA to clean those up real nice!

Main reason why you do the tires first..look at all that sling!

Frank doesn't miss the tiny details (No pun intended)

Sonax Fallout Remover bleeds out contaminants.

Foam and wash!

Little before and after cosmetic engine detail

Time to clay both the Durango R/T and Corvette Z06
