Marvelous, education is the best investment one can do for the younger.
Great initiative, thanks for sharing!
Kind Regards.

I've heard Mike speak on numerous occassions about all things detailing, and he didn't disappoint when it came to teaching the Scouts. He had great stories along the way, engaged each of the scouts, and showed his passion for all things auto-related - definitely not him up there lecturing.
Thanks again for giving back to the community and our youth.

We should start a special "detailing badge" award, so if they choose to use a car wash for funding purposes at least you know the kids understand what to do

I helped put together this troop's car wash a few weeks back and wash very hands-on with the Scouts making sure they minimized opportunities for swirling paint - lots of buckets, the right wash mits (did remove a couple of brushes they were using that were supposed to be paint safe - just as a precaution), one bucket and grout sponge for tires only, no towels on the ground. Overall they did a great job and even let them wash my wife's van. I know they came away with a better appreciation for doing it right.

Last Saturday we had a local Boy Scout Troop join us for Cars & Coffee and then after Cars & Coffee we held a class in Autogeek's Show Car Garage to go over all the safety, maintenance and operational functions for automobiles so the Boy Scouts would earn their Automotive Merit Badges.
Thats why if you look carefully through the pictures at last weekends Cars & Coffee you'll see a troop of Boy Scouts in a lot of the pictures.

Here's a few pictures from the class....

hanks again for giving back to the community and our youth.
Thanks for the kind words Louie... it was a blast working with the Boy Scouts. Plus they helped me to change the oil in my truck as a part of getting their Merit Badge.
Now that's win/win!
