That's Jim's classic 1971 Plymouth Fury New York City Police Car. Jim is a retired New York Police Officer and it's an example of the one of the cars his department used back in the day.

We actually used his car for one of our Detailing Boot Camp Classes where my students learned to machine wet sand paint and then learned how to use rotary buffers with wool pads to remove the sanding marks.

Here's what the car looked like when it arrived... this is where we started from by machine sanding to remove the other guys tracers and holograms as well as orange peel...

Here's the after shots and of course it looks great even today, over a year and a half later....

And here it is on display last weekend....

Thank you very much! For 102k miles she still turns some heads! Every time I go to this cars and coffee I have a great time! Really looking forward to detail fest this coming year!
