    Microfiber Towels

Looking at purchasing some new microfiber towels and confused about some of the description. The Deluxe Jr. 600, Gold Plush and Supreme 530 all state they are for QD and Spray wax application. They do however vary in weight greatly. Being that these towels will be for detailing a bike and need to purchase towels that one are for polishing and waxing but then also towels for wiping the bike down after each ride with minimal scratching as bugs are removed with detail spray. Thanks

Get the 530's for removing polish/wax and some waffle weave drying towels for drying (Cobra Guzzler). You can use the 530's for removing bugs with detail spray too, but you might want to keep a couple aside that are only used for that purpose.

I used the purple one (600gsm) for polish removal and liked it, for QD and spray wax I prefer the crazy pile towel by Microfiber Madness (not sold on AG) but I think the purple 600 or even the gold plush (350gsm) will do just fine for that job.. Just be careful when removing bugs or bird droppings even with a very soft towel you can still scratch the paint if not done correctly!

That's my confusion. How is the gold plush with a much lower weight of 300 something as good as the super plush 600 for QD. To me it would seem like that towel would cause more scratches.

different nap to the towel, it's still very soft, just not as plush
    Back to the full-time grind.
