Re: Free Cigarette LED Light and Charger...
I never used the one I got and probably never will. It's hard to complain about something free.

Re: Free Cigarette LED Light and Charger...
when you squeeze the 2 tabs on the side the light goes off . I think the idea is to just leave it in the cigaret lighter , in the socket it will stay off. then if you need a light you pull it out the tabs pop out and the light comes on. if you don't want to leave it in then you have to put a small zip tie around those side tabs to turn the light of.
by the way love your PC videos learned a lot from them

I could see Light coming out of my USB Port while the Gizmo was plugged into my Cigarette Lighter... so maybe my Cigarette Lighter doesn't pinch down enough on the 2 Tabs.
No big deal... it was free and for that, I thank AG for including them in our Orders.

Re: Free Cigarette LED Light and Charger...
I have been using one for a while now. The main idea is to leave it on your lighter or outlet plug this way you can plug and charge any of your usb equipment( iphone, blackberry, etc). The flash light will stay off as long as its inside the outlet plug once you remove it from the plug the led's will turn on.

Theres an led that lights up the plug so you can see it at night, so it makes it easier to plug in your cord at night. I think that might be the light your seeing.

If the light you are seeing is green, then it is the LED for the USB plug. That light is on as long as the unit is plugged in to the cigarette lighter.
On mine at least, the "main" lighting is blue.
It's not a SureFire and I don't know how long it will hold up, but it seems pretty bright, especially at night.
