Has anybody used Marine 31 Boat Coating yet? I have 2012 Sea Hunt 25 Gamefish with a Steel Blue hull. The boat is new to me as of last years boating season. When I bought the boat it was detailed before shipping up to me and looked very good. After a season in NJ from April to December of sitting in the water and going offshore it needs some help. I noticed oxidation mostly at center to aft ends. Also the boat must have had vinyl stickers with the name of the boat on the sides and now I can see them ghosting. I have a Flex 3401 and Marine 31 compound , polishes and other misc. tools to hopefully bring back that nice deep shine. It has been about 15 years since I have worked on cars cutting and polishing but I think I get the hang of it pretty fast. I was going to try the Marine 31 Boat Coating hoping it would hold up better to the environment we have up hear.
Curious about the same thing. If no answer you can't go wrong with Rejex or Fleetwax. I love the look of my clients boats after a coat of Fleetwax... but rejex does last longer
I used it on my 33' Tiara and didn't really see a better result compared to just using a good sealant. You may want to check in with Corey at CarPro possibly and see what he says about maybe using cquartz on gelcoat. I'm not sure if it is compatible or not.
This coating is awesome it's lasted two years on my watercraft. I always wipe the watercraft down after every use. I couldn't be happier! Here are a couple of pics two years after coating
