Bruno wins 2 in a row!
Coming off of a big win at the most recent stop on the NHRA Full Throttle series in Topeka, KS, we were trying to keep the momentum going and secure a coveted spot in the upcoming JEGS All-Stars race this past weekend. With it being a “win and you’re in” scenario at the NHRA Lucas Oil Series event in Brainerd, MN, the pressure was on. We qualified the Autogeek.net/Detailer’s Pro Series Chevy Cobalt in the number two spot and marched to the final to face off with number one qualifier Pat Nahan. Both cars left together at the start, but the power of our turbocharged Chevy ECOtec 4-cylinder was just too much, as we claimed our second straight victory of the season!
Yesterday’s win guaranteed us a fourth consecutive appearance in the JEGS All-Stars event, that runs in conjunction with the NHRA “Route 66 Nationals” at our home track in Chicago. Having claimed All-Star titles in both 2009 and 2010, it’s safe to say that we’re excited about the opportunity to go after a third All-stars title in front of our family and friends. ESPN2 will once again cover the special “race within a race,” check your local listings for dates and times.
This weekend we’ve got home court advantage as we try to keep our winning streak alive at the NHRA Lucas Oil Series event at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, IL.
I’ll be doing some guest appearances on local radio stations over the next few days to help promote the event, as well as debuting our new Detailer’s Pro Series turbocharged dragster this weekend.
It’s going to be a busy weekend running two cars, but looking forward to the challenge!
Thanks for the continued support!
Sincerely,
Bruno Massel
Way to go Bruno! Keep up the great work!

Good Job Bruno!
Can't wait to see the new Dragster in action!
