Utility Carts
Hey Everyone,
I'm looking for a utility cart to have along side me. However, I'm looking to build one myself. Has anyone had any experience doing so? These are the ones im looking to imitate. the Griots one being number 1, followed by megs and then the metal one last. Im more of a DIY'er and i did the Pad Washer this weekend.

2. Meguiars Detailing Cart, detail supplies cart
3. Seville Classics Heavy-Duty Commercial-Grade UltraZinc Utility Cart, SHE99307ZB - Walmart.com

Re: Utility Carts
I have the Meg's cart. I like it. One key aspect is all 4 wheels are swivel type. Many carts have fixed on one end limiting pushing it into tight spaces like for storage.
A guy named Nick Chapman mounted halogens on this cart but not sure I could find the link.

Re: Utility Carts
I just recently did a DIY one. I had intended to start with a Harbor Freight 16"X30" three shelf cart, but acquired a few aluminum trays, so I built my own. Here's the thread with pics in case you want to use some of my ideas.

Re: Utility Carts
I have a decent one I ordered from the Big River, three molded shelves on four aluminum posts with four inch casters. There are several on there that look similar, mine is branded by the kitchen supplier Winco, I think I paid about $75 shipped (Prime).

Re: Utility Carts
Sam's has this stainless prep cart...all wheels swivel. I'm waiting for my new house (and in turn garage) before I buy. But this will be my cart of choice. I've seen in store...it's sturdy enough to have the family stand on it. It also will run a DA...just kidding about that last one, but still this is the cart I'm patiently waiting on.

Re: Utility Carts
I bought one from Lowe's made by Rubbermaid for a little over $100 I think it was. It has nice large diameter swivel wheels that roll over cracks easy and blows away the one I was looking at at Harbor Freight away. Hope this helps!
