In time out
I just bought my fourth ShMITT and two of them are still in the plastic bag because I'm still using my very first one! It's lasted me probably for close to 100x washes so far and I just poked a hole through the place where my fingers do the scrubbing the other day. However, still very much usable!

Its the tractor washing i guess......3x intr and 1 x JD kills the ShMitt. lol
A hundred washes would never ever happen here, at summertime maybe, during winter......it will never last. And as said above, headlights and emblems cuts it, and i too have goten a hole where my fingers are.

I know Brandon personally, and he can detail the wheels off of anything - yeah, he's done big Deere tractors and grain drills, tractor trailers, dumptrucks and everything else - like high dollar Corvettes and Lexus SUV's. The fact that the Schmitt lasted with Brandon's schedule should make it pretty clear just how tough they are. It should last the average guy years before dry-rot finally gets it.

Thanks everyone (june).
I talked to arron and he basically said that 100 washes was normal for a shmitt and probably time to get a new one.
Maybe I will try the LC ultimitt next. I still would have been using the shmitt b/c the face of the mitt is still almost perfect, it just separated.
