One thing I couldn't find was how hot it gets the water. That really seems to me, to be the biggest difference between these more entry level models to the 750+ ones..

I'm in the market for a steamer and can't decide if I want to get the 1275 or the 1385. What were the deciding factors for those who have purchased one? And for those that have both, is it worth the extra money? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dang, this looks really nice. I wish I would have waited on my 1275, I'm quite disappointed with it =/.

If this thing is garbage I'm going to drive over it repeatedly in a F350 and post it on Youtube

I don't have a link to prove it but I read somewhere either on amazon or the manufacture's website that that water is heated to over 200 degrees (I think 210) if I remember correctly.

In the link in the OP, in the product description it says "Using ordinary water heated to over 200ºF, the MC1385 effectively and naturally cleans and sanitizes a wide variety of surfaces."
