So then I'm assuming that the Flex XC3401VRG is an orbital as well? Or is this the rotary version?

No, it's the new orbital, man. Gotta find pads for it.

Well, they have two polishers and you can Google Flex 602, that's the big mama but they haven't released an orbital before so this is news.

What a coincidence, I have been looking at these just a few days ago. I am very curious how it would work with pads that are not theirs (balance, vibration, and longevity of pad wise). Did you try it with anybody else's pads. If you did not could you please? And how much you paid for it?

Nica, I got it on one of the online tool places in the US. I have had it a number of years and I don't remember which one I got it from. Do a Google search and compare prices. That's what I usually do.

Balance is right with a pad not too thick, it vibrates some so some CTS-gloves will be necessary. Flex pad was all ok, I took our standard blue 150 pad and put on and then you have to adjust in terms of balance.

We paid 3995 Swedish Kronor for it plus 25% vat.

If you want less vibration you must try Top Tool with 133 mm pads. Nothing beats that one but this was a good purchase as an allround machine.
