I used lots of mitts, the meg's mf mitt is what I use in my shop and I love it. Holds a ton of suds, doesn't scratch and is very durable.

All the good qualities of a nice wool wash mitt, without getting debris trapped in the fibers like wool.

    Highly recommend!

Is this the white mf mitt, similar technology as the long finger mf on the pads?

They are very soft to me, especially when soaked in soapy water. Maybe soak it or wash it and see how it feels.

Honestly it feels super rough when dry but really softens up with water and soap. I've used one for about 6 months now and haven't noticed any swirls from it.

I picked up a couple of the Meguiars MF wash mitts. Good deal at $6 each. I'll let you guys know what I think when I get a chance to use them for the first time
