Spinbrush and an old pad = secret weapon?
I have seen a few posts recently about getting into the nooks and crannies around emblems or other tight spots to remove the other guy's wax.
A crazy idea popped into my head for a simple tool that might make this easier or more fun.
Take a kids/cheap power toothbrush (pick your favorite super hero or barbie) and remove the bristles and replace them with some hook velcro that is compatible with your favorite pad.
Grab your spent and all-used-up pads and trim them down to about the right size (1/2 inch diameter) and maybe shorten the height from whatever they are to 1/4 inch or so. Stick the mini-pad onto the toothbrush and BAM! you have a miniature oscillating buffer!
I'm thinking this would work great for tiny spaces where you might need to use a little compound or polish but want the consistent results you get with your DA.
You can also custom cut pad pieces to get into even tighter spaces (wedges, cones, whatever) and have a pretty versatile tool.
useful or silly?

I tried to get Chris@Optimum to make some MF cones for wheel spokes and such when they came out with their MF pads, but to no avail.
