Honest opinions for pressure washer and steamer

Let me explain a couple things first. I want eventually or slowly start not only an auto detailing business but also a cleaning company which will service things like parking garages, ice dams, gum removal, interior cleaning and tile and grout.

Having said that I am starting to figure out if I should purchase the equipment to do this right away or start with purely auto detailing specific items.

The two powerhouse machines I am very set on at the moment are the Daimer supermax 10880 cold/hot steam pressure washer found here:

3500 PSI Pressure Washer: Daimer SUPER MAX 10880 3500 PSI Pressure Washer

For steam the Daimer Kleenjet Supreme 300cvp found here:

Both machines are costly but will be eventually be what I will want. Having said that I would like to hear your opinions on spending that much initially and if you disagree what you would recommend for these types of machines as starter units for auto detailing.

    Thank you.

I think spending 12k on 2 machines to start either business is way excessive. I know there are guys here who didn't spend 12k on their entire set ups including trailer and vehicle. Don't get me wrong, I'm the go big or go home type myself but there are much better ways to spend that start up capital.

Ya way to much money for both! I spent $1100 for both of mine $900 on Dupray steamer and about $200 on pressure washer. I would never spend that kind of money ever that's crazy!

If you are looking to do parking garages and gum removal, look at the Dupray super inox. It comes with all the attachments needed and gum removal solution.

I guess I just saw those two power house machines and am having a hard time looking at cheaper items until now that is.

I am comparing the Duprey Hill Injection and the Daimer Kleenjet Mega 500v.

The bigger problem i'm having is a good pressure washer, gravity feed tank and generator setup.

I should add that I don't mind paying for quality machines but some of you may got that from the items I originally posted

    Thank you

Re: Honest opinions for pressure washer and steamer

I use to own a pressure washing company for 4 years.

I had 2 machines. 5000 psi with 5gpm and had a diesel heater.
My other machine was 4000psi with 4gpm coldwater only. I use to wash gas stations, groccery stores (the entryway and sidewalks), banks.

If I was you I would get one big machine at least 4000psi with 4gpm and it has to be heated. And then get a smaller machine 2500psi with 3gpm for auto detailing. Mount them both on a trailer and have at least a 250gallon water tank. Have 2 100ft hose reels and an extra 50ft just incase one bust r breaks.

Good luck with your future business. If you have any questions just ask.

P.s. that machine you linked is expensive. I paid that for my machine and my machine was more powerful(1500psi and 1gpm difference)
