I bought a scrub brush at wal mart with a handle type grip on it..in the household cleaning section...it works like a champ....cost was 2.49...it is just for the rubber..not painted surfaces..it works great in the wheel wells also...

OXO is the best!!! Tire brush, and feather bristles wheel brush. For cleaning in between the wheels I prefer EZ brush. It works fine in tight places.

I just got some cheap brush from Advance Auto. For rims I LOVE the EZ brush. Everyone should have one!

I've been using the Mother's tire brush and wheel brush for a while now and really like both of them. The tire brush has contoured bristles to help cover a little more area, and the rubber surrounding the head helps prevent any accidental scratches on the wheel surface. The wheel brush is equally effective, I love it for cleaning any rims I've encountered so far. These two brushes and some DP wheel gel make a deadly combination IMO
