thought i would never see...
thought i would never see... paul dalton use a random orbital and be happy
with it's performance/outcome since he mainly uses a rotary.
just goes to show you with technology (and open mind) progressing each and every day,
different tools can do the job just as well...

note: some of the questions that are asked and his response from this video...
Q: Does it take more work to remove defects when using this machine in comparison to a rotary?
A: No not at all, I've cut my correction time in half using this Rupes Bigfoot system. Definitely changed the way I detail and made my life stress free.
Q: Paul, Oribitals are not as effective as rotarys for more intensive paint correction, no?
A: No, this is different, this has a 15mm orbit, and is the smoothest machine ever, no vibration what so ever!!!

I'm just guessing that:
-His $8-10,000/per vehicle..."detailing-charge"...may face a reduction?
-Less than 61 'steps'?

don't know if he's been using the rupes for a while, possibly so and he probably got it a long time ago (maybe it was released earlier do to his location) being the detailer that he is. chad, please let us know your honest opinion of this when you get a chance to put it to work. i've been looking at one of these for a while and the holidays are right around the corner . yeah, i don't think you can find one person more experienced, humble, and helpful like KB (these are the kind of people you want to support!) and i wish him the best with BD...

Agreed!!!
I'll be sure to post pics, info, and my honest opinion after I've done a few cars with it....hoping it arrives by Friday.
I had him send me some of the Rupes pads to try out too.

Nope, not yet. They haven't made it in 110v yet so you'd have to get a converter in order to use it in the states. Tuan from Glossworks Paint Restoration & Protection in Cali has one though.
I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they make it as the demand is now there.
