AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
For those of you who own, or are planning on owning an AR Blue Clean AR390 pressure washer, you might have run into the same dilema I did. There is no way to clearly tell what fitting to use when adapting the Autogeek Foam Cannon.
I searched the internet high and low, prior to purchasing the unit, for connection dimensions, or user photos to determine what fitting would fit the AR390's wand. By the way, the AR390 uses different connections than the AR383, or any of the other AR Blue Clean pressure washers.
Anyways, below are pictures of the AR390's wand, the connection type and the KRANZLE fitting that fits on the end of the wand.
Hope this helps

How is the washer working for you? What fitting is that because this is the one thing I have been waiting on to purchase this pressure washer.

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
Oh it works great! The fitting is the KRANZLE fitting (same fitting that Autogeek uses for the demonstration with the Honda Pressure Washer Wand).
The AR390 uses a different connection than the more popular AR383, which uses a connection similar to a Bosch and Karcher K fitting.
The AR 390 has a brass thread connection for it's wands and the foam cannon, versus the quick connect (twist and lock) connections on the Karcher and other brands. I like that threaded connection feel better IMO.
Hope this helps

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
Awesome thanks my 390 came today and my MTM foam lance will be here monday. I got that one because it comes with a Kranzle fitting attached.

That's great! How is working for you? Do you like the 390?

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
It works awesome. The AR390 is well worth the extra money over the 383. The hose is less prone to kinking. It uses a standard M22/Kranzle fitting for connection. Which thanks to you I knew ahead of time! Great products!

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
Can you please provide links to the exact fitting you purchased? I recently received an MTM Hydro foamer and have been trying to find a pressure washer with the least amount of 'extras' required to get it to work with an inexpensive pressure washer. If you've gotten the AR390 to work with the MTM by only purchasing one additional adapter that's great!
And to confirm, no extra 'fiddling' with parts, connectors, etc.. was required?
Thanks!

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
You going to like what im about to say. You have to purchase nothing else. The AR390 uses M22/kranzel brass fitting which the MTM comes with. No additional fittings needed just buy and apply. The AR 383 needs a whole mess of mod work.

Hey Newb001, here is the link to the fitting on Autogeek's page.
Kranzle Pressure Washer Fitting
To further back up buildbright's words, the AR390 is definetly worth the money! The Water flow rate and the flowing pressure (1.6gpm/1800 psi) are a great pair for cars. It's a very solid unit, definetly recommend. It's also nice to have all brass connectors versus plastic IMO.

Re: AR Blue Clean AR390 Foam gun solution
Thanks for the info! Sorry, just to confirm, do I need the Kranzle fitting for the AR390 or AR383? I'm definitely getting the AR390 (might actually get it on ebay, manufacturer refurbished, for $125)
